THINK AFTER YOU FEEL 愛

Ljubljana, London
22 Giclée prints, an artist statement
In July 1969, Douglas Huebler’s Location Piece #2 New York City-Seattle, Washington attempted to remove cultural associations about which arguably was the main reason that photographs exist——to mirror a version of reality.
Tara Medjo responded to Mu-Chen Lee’s proposal for a collaboration inspired by Huebler’s work as mentioned. The idea came from the desire to find connection and acknowledge different narratives. After incorporating Huebler’s way of working with “chance”, they discarded a list of target subjects and relied on pairs of a feeling and a location to create the basic work.
And now, after reading this statement, can you help them complete this work by looking at “their realities” and think about how meaningless they are to you?
